TheMerode is inviting Koen to hold a lecture as part of their enlightening program of events, where local and international speakers, ordinary and extraordinary, can share their unique stories and visions to encourage listeners on their own journey as change makers.

Koen will be speaking about his project LABIOMISTA; an exploration of identity and diversity. A collaboration with the city of Genk, LABIOMISTA is an all-encompassing art project. It is Vanmechelen’s studio and foundation headquarters, a laboratory and library of bio-cultural diversity. A site where animals live and breed, and a park with (living) artworks and installations.
