Caroline Vrijens

Caroline Vrijens is a Flemish children's rights commissioner since August 2019. Together with her team, she defends the interests of children and young people in Flanders and provides advice on new legislative initiatives that may be of interest to minors. The children's rights commissioner is also the contact point where minors or their parents can go with questions or complaints about possible violations of their rights. Caroline Vrijens graduated from FUNDP Namur and the KULeuven. In the past she worked behind the scenes at youth services and SOS Children's Villages.
